Breath Coaching
My breathwork offerings provide a powerful and accessible path to whole-body wellbeing. Through guided techniques that deepen awareness and expand respiratory capacity, this practice supports physical health, enhances mental clarity, and nurtures emotional balance.
Each session is designed to calm and regulate the nervous system, helping you shift out of stress and into a state of grounded resilience. Whether you’re seeking greater vitality, inner peace, or long-term wellness, breathwork offers a gentle yet transformative way to reconnect with yourself and thrive.
The breathwork that I offer comes under the ‘functional breathwork’ umbrella where you are supported to develop awareness of your habitual breathing patterns and work towards deepening, slowing and smoothing out the breath for enhanced wellbeing. Additionally, you’ll learn a range of practices for calming, balancing and energising.
The initial breath coach session is 80 minutes with subsequent sessions being 60 minutes.
The session fee includes audio recordings of the breath practices taught in both the initial session and subsequent sessions, along with a written summary of the session.

Benefits of Breathwork
Breathwork offers a wide range of physical, emotional and mental benefits, many of which are supported by both tradition and current research.
Here are some key benefits:
Improved cardiovascular function
Deep, intentional breathing increases oxygen delivery to the body, supports healthy blood pressure, and can improve overall heart and circulatory health.

Better respiratory efficiency
Breathwork strengthens the diaphragm and lung capacity, helping you breathe more fully and efficiently—especially helpful for shallow breathers or those with stress-related breathing patterns.

Reduced muscle tension and pain
Slow, steady breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps relax muscles, ease physical tension, and reduce stress-related discomfort.
Enhanced metabolic and detoxification processes
Optimal breathing supports better oxygen exchange and carbon dioxide release, helping the body eliminate waste more effectively and improving overall metabolic function.

Improved digestion
By strengthening the diaphragm and toning the vagus nerve many digestive issues, like IBS can be greatly improvised.
Improved immune function
Relaxation-based breathing practices lower stress hormones like cortisol, which can support healthier immune responses.
Better sleep and energy levels
By regulating the nervous system, breathwork can improve sleep quality and help you wake with more energy and clarity.

Support for inflammation reduction
Some breathwork modalities can help reduce stress-driven inflammation by shifting the body into a restorative mode.

Improved wellbeing
Breathwork can help you to cope with a wider range of life issues as the practice helps you to feel at home in your body and develop capacity to be with a wider range of feelings and experiences. This will help you to respond rather than react to life’s stressors. Anxiety and depression is decreased and wellbeing increased.
